Training Course for Community Leaders in Social Innovation
The Local Government Community Innovation Fund (CIF) is a programme that funds new responses to pressing social demands, affecting social interactions within communities and as a result transforming them.
The general objective of the project is to develop an educational and training capacity for the Birkirkara Community Innovation Centre (BCIC). This will be achieved through different distinct work packages that will strengthen and uplift the community within Birkirkara and the surrounding localities within the Central Region.
Through the CIF, beneficiaries will create a learning network of organizations that will work together to implement innovative and effective evidence-based solutions to local and national challenges in the following priority areas: social integration, building stronger communities and the regeneration of the urban fabric.
